So, these Southern-isms seem to be interesting enough to y’all, I’m going to take another shot at it! Here ya go!
This hilarious term is used quite frequently by yours truly! My mom used it often, too. Apparently strange words get inherited too! Haha!
Reckon. Oh…reckon. A word that I believe you must have a southern accent just to say it! It’s a law, isn’t it?
Well, I’ll be… yes, it’s no stereotype, we really say this. Really. Sometimes it just slips out. Being southern is just like that, or at least it is for me. You try to sound smart and all the sudden the country bumpkin gene kicks you in the tongue and you say “fur” instead of far. Yes. True story.

Found you through a post on A Mommy’s View. My mom grew up down South. This reminded me a lot of her. One I always like was “rat”. She will get on that rat now.
